Women joined Pakistan Navy through Short Service Commission.

Women can join Pakistan Navy through short service commission in below mentioned fields. The tenure of Pak Navy Short Service Commission (SSC) is five years which can be extended to permanent commission.

Education Branch

Special Branch (Computer Programmer/IT Specialists)

  • Medical Branch (GDMOs)
  • Law Branch
  • Women will receive 9 months of training in various training foundations of Pakistan Navy.

Education Branch

Eligibility: Citizens of Pakistan

 

Age: Up to 28 years as on 01 January 2021

 

Height: Female 5 feet (minimum)

 

Qualification: Minimum 2nd Division in M.Sc or equivalent with 16 years of education in any of the following subjects from HEC recognized Institute University. Candidate must be qualified in MA/MSc Chemistry, Psychology, Islamic Studies, Physics, Urdu and English.

At least 20 to 30 years old women can join Pakistan Navy as computer programmers. He/she should have master's degree in software engineering, information technology, computer science or computer technology

Pharmacist

Also, women can join the Pakistan Navy as a pharmacist and serve the force.

 

Age: Should be between 22 to 35 years as on 01 Jan 13.

Eligibility: 

  • At least 2nd Division in D. Pharmacy from a HEC recognized University / Institution.
  • Applicants must be registered with the Provincial Pharmacy Council.
  • Candidate having one year experience with pharmaceutical company/hospital will be preferred.

Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist

Women can serve the force by joining the Pak Navy as Therapists/Physiotherapists.

Age: Should be 22–35 years as on 01 Jan 13.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having one year experience in a Rehabilitation Centre/Hospital.

Medical Branch (GDMOs)

Age: Up to 28 years

 

Height: Male 5 feet 4 inches (minimum), Female 5 feet (minimum)

  •  Second Division minimum in MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PM and DC
  • Candidates must be enrolled in PM&DC.
  • Should have one year house job experience in PM&DC recognized hospitals.

Naval Law Branch

Required by law

  • Candidates must possess a Law degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution in addition to a degree in Arts or Sciences.

Selection Procedure

Entrance test

  • Intelligence test time 35 minutes
  • Educational test based on MCQs of Physics, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge subjects 80 minutes
  • Initial medical test with screening hepatics test for eligible candidates, HIV test conducted in concerned PNR and SCs.
