Midshipman
Midshipman is the first rank in Pakistan Navy. The salary of
a midshipman is around Rs 35,000-50,000. The basic pay scale of a midshipman is
BPS-17 and is the training period for becoming a naval officer.
Sub Lieutenant (S/LT)
The grade of sub-lieutenant is BPS-17 and the salary of a
sub-lieutenant in Pakistan Navy is around Rs 50,000-60,000.
Well, a midshipman becomes a sub-lieutenant after two years
of training. The rank of Sub-Lieutenant is equivalent to Lieutenant in Pak Army
and ASP in Police.

Lieutenant is the third rank in Pakistan Navy and is
equivalent to Captain in Pakistan Army and ASP/DSP in Police Force. The basic
pay grade for Lieutenant is BPS-17 and the pay is around Rs 70,000 - 80,000.

The rank of Commander is equivalent to Lieutenant Colonel in Pakistan Army and
SSP in Police Forces.
A commander's job is to supervise a warship or submarine.

Captain (Captain)
