Patriots can apply to join Pakistan Army as Captain as Aeronautical Engineer (Aerospace & Avionics) Corps of EME through DSSC. Applicants can apply online for Pakistan Army Direct Service Commission from 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024.

Interested married or unmarried men with 16 years of experience in Aeronautical Engineering (BS/BE) may apply in the specified fields below. Applicants can register at Army Selection and Recruitment Center or apply online through the official website of Pak Army.

The last date of registration for Aeronautical Engineers in Direct Short Service Commission is 15 January 2024.

Educational requirements

• Students must have completed 16 years of formal education (BS/BE) in the above discipline from a PEC/HEC recognized institution in Pakistan/abroad with a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or 62.5% marks in annual systems. . In case of a foreign degree, equivalent certificate from HEC must be produced.
• All grades are 2nd Division/Grade C or higher.
• Candidate should have 4 years engineering degree in above mentioned fields.
• Applicants must have graduated from PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) recognized institutions or foreign institutions recognized by PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) only.
• Applicants with degree and 2-3 years of work experience will be preferred.
• Candidates with certain high qualifications are eligible, even if they have been rejected twice by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) for Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) or equivalent Naval or Pakistan Air Force (PAF) courses. .
• Candidates rejected for Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) long course or equivalent courses and post graduate courses can avail one more chance for post graduate courses only.
• Candidates can also apply with “Certificates of Hope” from Heads/Initiates of Universities. Final degree/transcripts must be submitted by April 15, 2024 or they will not be considered for final merit.

Verification of degree/educational documents

Candidates who qualify for the initial selection process at AS&RCs (Army Selection and Recruitment Centers) will need to attach a copy of degree/transcript certified by PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) with their application.

 

Candidates appearing for Omid Certificates must submit transcript/degree certified by PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) within seven days of declaration of results.

Steps to join Pak Army Aeronautical Engineer are:

 

• You can register online by clicking on the following link or by visiting the official website.
• Candidates can also visit their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RC).
• The date and time of the test will be announced online, for which you must have a valid email account.
• Candidates will be informed about the exact date and time of their preliminary examinations.
• All the documents mentioned below will be brought to the AS&RCs, and the candidates will have to pay the prospectus fee.

Preliminary selection procedure

• Registration: December 25, 2023 - January 15, 2024
• Preliminary Test: 01 February – 12 February 2024
• Intelligence/Academic Test: A multiple-choice academic test based on intelligence/grade level will be administered on a computer-assigned date during registration at AS&RCs.
• Preliminary Medical Test: AS&RCs will conduct a preliminary medical test for the candidates.
• Physical Test: Candidates must fulfill the following physical tests:

Further selection procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be notified directly through the website and will be given a call-up letter when called for the Inter-Service Selection Board (ISSB) test/interview. The General Headquarters Selection Board (GHQ) will interview the candidates recommended by the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) at Rawalpindi.

 

There is no Traveling Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA). General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board candidates will undergo a full range of medical tests at various hospitals as per their choice. General Headquarters (GHQ) will make the final selection based on individual performance.

Documents required in AS&RCs

• All original certificates and detailed mark sheets along with five attested copies of each certificate and degree.
• A candidate working for a Government Institution/Department shall provide an objection letter from that institution.
• Attested photocopy of domicile.
• Photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card and NADRA Verification Slips.
• 6 color photos (1 front and 5 back) with authentication.
• Crossed Postal Order of Rs.100.00 payable to Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ).
• Candidates degrees should be certified by HEC/PEC.

Basic military training

Selected candidates will undergo six months basic military training at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.

 

Bond

Candidates selected for this post will be required to sign a bond to serve in the army for at least 7 years. The bond will be required to be stamped with stamp papers of Rs. 100/- with signature of two witnesses only.
